Agricultural & Light Industrial Speed-Up Gearbox
This type of gearbox is mainly used to raise the standard tractor PTO speed (usually 540 RPM) to the high speed required by hydraulic pumps (1800-3000 RPM). Typical models like KM7004 and KMT7001 are specially designed for log splitters.
Features: Adopts aluminum alloy housing for light weight and corrosion resistance, with internal spur gears for high efficiency and low noise.
Parameters: Input speed 540 RPM, output speed up to 1836 RPM or higher, torque capacity ranges from 500 Nm to 650 Nm depending on specific models.
Applications: Suitable for outdoor heavy-duty operations and frequently moved equipment.
Heavy-Duty Truck PTO Assembly
Designed for commercial truck chassis such as Dongfeng, Sinotruk and JAC, it is directly installed on the side port of the truck's gearbox to drive hydraulic pumps for operating cranes, oil pumps or fuel pumps.
Features: Made of cast iron or high-strength steel to withstand high torque, compatible with specific gearbox models (such as WLY6S46B, Fast 8JS85E).
Typical Models: SDQ series (such as SDQ24/67, SDQ-YQ15/75), with speed ratios ranging from 1.0 to 1.64 and output torque up to 250-400 Nm.
Applications: Suitable for special vehicles modified on fixed chassis, such as sprinklers, oil tankers and truck-mounted cranes.
Universal Split Shaft & Pump Drive Unit
Used to connect diesel engines to hydraulic pumps, offering multiple speed ratio options (speed-up or speed-down) with a modular design.
Features: Adopts planetary gear or spur gear structure, with built-in oil circuit lubrication for good heat dissipation and high load-bearing capacity.
Applications: Suitable for industrial machinery, motorcycles and large agricultural machinery that require customized speed ratios and installation methods.
When selecting a PTO gearbox, focus on the following indicators to ensure proper matching with the hydraulic pump and power source:
Speed Ratio: Determines the output speed. Agricultural applications usually require speed-up (such as 1:3.4), while truck PTOs mostly have a speed ratio between 1.0 and 1.64. Make sure the output speed does not exceed the rated limit of the hydraulic pump (usually <3000 RPM).
Output Torque Capacity: Must meet the requirements of the hydraulic pump at maximum working pressure. For heavy-duty applications, choose a model with sufficient torque margin; under intermittent working conditions, the torque can be temporarily overloaded by 20%.
Mounting & Flange:
Agricultural models: Need to match standard flanges and bolt hole spacing (such as the modular design of KM7004).
Truck models: Must strictly correspond to the gearbox side port model and output shaft spline specifications (internal spline or flange output).
Material & Lubrication: Aluminum alloy is suitable for lightweight outdoor scenarios, while cast iron/steel is for high-load industrial scenarios. Before use, fill with SAE 90 gear oil, and check the oil level regularly (every 50 hours or annually).
